Such a great experience visiting here! Our request was to frame a silk scarf which was slightly unusual but Alon guided us through the process of selecting our frame and we are so happy with the final result! We also loved the artists in the gallery and impulse purchased a piece from local artist Malcolm Murphy. We met Malcolm in the gallery which was an added bonus, such a brilliant and humble artist. Alon, of 'Cathays Picture Framing & Gallery' has been reviewed 215 times and has been awarded 5 stars on every occasion. I've also awarded him 5 stars, he now has 216. Here's why....... We needed an oil painting which has significant meaning to us re-framed. From a very impressive and comprehensive range of frame options, Alon showed us  combinations of framing which in his opinion, and to our absolute agreement best suited the painting. He is incredibly professional, incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly courteous. When we collected our painting we could not have been more delighted with the finished work. All reviews awarded to Alon will praise him deservedly in a similar fashion so I'll keep this simple.... we've had artwork framed by a number of people in the past, in future however we won't be going anywhere other than 'Cathays Picture Framing and Gallary'. I had such a wonderful experience with Alon. He was absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and incredibly patient in helping me select the right frames for my paintings. He took the time to guide me through different options, explaining how each frame would complement the artwork, and never rushed the process. His eye for detail and genuine care made all the difference, and I left feeling confident and very happy with my choices. After months of searching for a place to print and frame a design my husband created, I was fortunate to discover Cathays Picture Framing and Gallery. I am truly grateful for the experience I had there. After sending a quick message, I made an appointment and was warmly welcomed by Alon, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. He carefully listened to my vision and guided me through various paper options, providing expert advice on the best choices. His recommendations on the right glass to complement the print were invaluable. The selection of frames was impressive, and with his assistance, I confidently chose a fantastic option for my husband's surprise 40th birthday gift. I was thrilled when I received a call a week before the special day informing me that my order was ready for collection. When I saw the framed print, I was absolutely blown away by its sheer quality; it looked as though it had been painted by a master artist. The presentation was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered and professionally executed. On my husband’s birthday, he was overwhelmed by the gift and couldn’t believe the exceptional craftsmanship.
