Bethan Williams
Bethan is an artist working with thread creating images and re-creating digital images. Her subjects include digital art, as well as art focusing on social media, exploring the qualities and pressures of social media within society. She was born in Beddau, South Wales. After having her children she worked as a specialist teaching assistant for children with special educational needs and ran after-school craft clubs teaching them about the different mediums within art. She was taught to sew at 6 years old and it has always been a part of her life. For the last 5 years she have been experimenting and perfecting a process that allows her to bring digital art ‘to life’.
